Graduation Protocol


Commencement marks the pinnacle of academic achievement, and Forest Hill Community High School proudly celebrates the occasion with formal pomp and circumstance. Please help us provide a memorable event for all involved.

  • Guest should be seated before the procession begins. Guest seating is first-come, first-seated.
  • No guests are permitted in the graduates’ seating area.
  • Guest will not be seated during the processional; late arrivals must wait until the procession ends.
  • Cell phones should be placed on silent mode.
  • Dress appropriately for the occasion.
  • Please remain for the entire ceremony as a sign of respect for all graduates.
  • Photographs are encouraged, but please remain in your seat when photographing or recording any portion of the ceremony. Please note the following items regarding professional photographs:
    • Lifetouch will photograph graduates as they walk across the stage and receive their diploma
    • Photos will be online ( ten days after the ceremony
    • Complimentary proofs will be mailed to Graduates
    • No obligation to purchase
    • Please allow 2-3 weeks for package delivery





Prohibited Items

For the safety and courtesy of all graduates and guests, the following items are prohibited in the graduation ceremony:

  • Bottled Water or any Bottled Liquids
  • Food Purchased Outside the Facility
  • Balloons
  • Wrapped Gifts
  • Flowers
  • Air Horns
  • Weapons
  • Alcohol
